Matthias Arndt is pleased to announce „20+2 YEARS“, an exhibition celebrating the 20th anniversary of ARNDT Berlin and the second anniversary of the gallery in Singapore, opening on January 15, 2015, from 3 to 9 pm at Helutrans Artspace Singapore.
Over the past two decades, in its premises in Berlin and Singapore, as well as formerly in Zurich, New York, Melbourne and Sydney, ARNDT has produced more than 320 exhibitions with 76 publications featuring leading emerging and established Asian and international artists. ARNDT also participated in more than 140 art fairs around the globe, such as Art Basel, Art Basel Miami, Art Basel Hong Kong, Art Stage Singapore, FRIEZE London and many others.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary in Singapore, a substantial presentation of 50 artworks by 39 artists from Central and Southeast-Asia, the United States, Germany, Europe, Russia and Australia marks the commitment of the gallery and its founder Matthias Arndt to the new location Singapore. Having pioneered in Berlin in 1994 founding the first gallery with international profile in former East-Berlin, Matthias Arndt premiered shows of leading Southeast-Asian artists in Europe and Australia in the past 5 years. Since then ARNDT has been focusing on the transfer between Asia-Pacific and Europe, while building a strong international and Asian gallery program in the expanded Singapore premises at Gillman Barracks.
The exhibition „20+2 YEARS“ is accompanied by a 231 page publication, featuring the gallery’s history and journey from 1994 to today, highlighting some of the key exhibitions held in Berlin, Singapore and the gallery’s other premises.

“20+2 YEARS” eröffnet am 15.
